Calafiori wanted by two Euro giants

Real Madrid and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori this summer.

Calafiori signed for the Gunners from Bologna for £42m last summer, but he has yet to establish himself as a regular left-back.

The Italian picked up several short-term injuries at the start of the season and now has competition from Myles Lewis-Skelly.

TuttoJuve claim that the versatile defender could be on the move later this year amid interest from Madrid and Juventus.

Calafiori can also comfortably play as a centre-back. Both Madrid and Juventus want him to bolster the same position.

It is reported that the duo could test the Gunners’ resolve with an offer of around £50m during the next transfer window.

Arsenal are set for a busy summer of spending and there could be some outgoings to compete for the expected outlay.

However, we would be surprised if Calafiori departs. Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko are more likely to leave.
