Real Madrid respond as frustrated Endrick enters transfer talks

Real Madrid have rejected Bundesliga approaches for Endrick, according to Spanish media.

The Brazilian wonderkid is enduring a difficult first season at the Santiago Bernabeu. Billed as a future Ballon d’Or winner, Endrick has struggled for minutes since his highly-anticipated arrival in Spain’s capital.

Endrick showed so much promise as a youngster that Real Madrid tied up a deal to sign him years in advance and they made a significant investment, paying as much as €60 million to secure his signature.

However, the 18-year-old is still finding his feet with Los Blancos. Manager Carlo Ancelotti has justified his lack of minutes by pointing to his inexperience but everybody surely expected to see him a little more regularly.

So far, Endrick has featured in a measly 160 minutes of football and the precocious teenager is clearly not happy about this.

Endrick has Bundesliga suitors

According to Relevo, Endrick’s situation has attracted the attention of foreign clubs, particularly in Germany. It is claimed that Bundesliga clubs have even made contact with the wonderkid’s camp to discuss a potential move.

Specific names are not mentioned but all of his suitors received the same emphatic response from Real Madrid. The player is not on the market, neither for a loan nor a permanent deal, and he will be going nowhere in January.

Nevertheless, the report claims that clubs will continue to monitor the situation should Real Madrid change their stance over the course of 2025. It is asserted that admirers are positioning themselves to pounce on this eventuality in the summer, though even then, any potential exit would only be temporary.

Out-of-favour Jesus Vallejo is the only senior Real Madrid player with fewer minutes than Endrick so far this season and this has made the youngster’s situation ‘delicate.’ For now, however, Endrick will remain in Spain’s capital.
