Real Madrid target Dowman transfer as DESPERATE €90m Arsenal bid incoming

Real Madrid have been linked with a sensational approach for Arsenal teenager Max Dowman and they could tempt Arsenal with a €90 million bid for one of Mikel Arteta’s untouchables.

Dowman has featured for Arsenal during their pre-season friendlies and the 15-year-old made an impressive cameo in the 3-2 win over Newcastle in Asia, which attracted global attention.

Arsenal see Dowman as one of the brightest players to ever come out of their academy, even with the flourishing careers of stars such as Bukayo Saka and emerging youngsters Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri.

But the Gunners could face interest from Real in Dowman according to fichajes, who claim that the wonderkid has ‘piqued the interest’ of the Spanish club’s hierarchy with his versatility in midfield and ability on the ball.

Real’s scouts are said to have followed Dowman’s ‘every move’ for months and believe they can get ahead of rivals by acting early to sign the player, who is unable to sign professional terms until he is 18.

The situation could become even more tense with Real still holding out hope in signing another Arsenal star which could set them back €90m as they prepare a raid on North London’s brightest talent.

Real to offer two players in exchange for Arsenal star

Fichajes have also claimed that a €90m bid has been submitted for William Saliba as well as including two additional players to sweeten the deal.

Saliba has entered the final two years of his contract with Arsenal and Real are desperate to try and sign the Frenchman as a ‘long-term leader’ in defence.

The report claims that playmaker Arda Guler could be offered on loan as part of the deal along with defender Raul Asencio, who is valued at €40m and considered Real’s own ‘jewel’ of their academy.

Arsenal are said to be ‘seriously considering’ the approach and there could be an outcome that sees both Saliba and Dowman move to Real in the near future if these reports from Spain are to be believed.
