Sky Sport Italia suggest Bento has told Al-Nasr he only wants Genoa, despite interest from West Ham United, and is pushing for a loan with option to buy.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper had a few close calls with Serie A in the past and has an Italian passport due to his heritage, so has his heart set on playing in Italy.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Bento has received interest from the likes of Gremio in Brazil and West Ham in the Premier League.

However, he informed Al-Nassr that he only wants Genoa and is determined to make that transfer stick in January.

This is also confirmed by Tuttomercatoweb and Sport Mediaset.

It would be a loan move with option to buy at the end of the season for circa €5m.

The shot-stopper left Athletico Paranaense in 2024 for Al-Nassr at a cost of €18m, but believes Genoa will give him a better chance of earning a spot at the 2026 World Cup with Brazil.
