Report: Brobbey set for Bundesliga return with Stuttgart?

Stuttgart have been linked with the 23-year-old Dutch marksman.

According to the ‘Algemeen Dagblad,’ VfB Stuttgart is said to be among those interested in Brian Brobbey from Ajax Amsterdam.

However, the Dutch news report does not provide any concrete details about the alleged discussions in the state.

Stade Rennes, in particular, is said to be vying for the attacker, with the Ligue 1 club reportedly offering over €20million.

The Amsterdam club is apparently demanding more for the 23-year-old who bagged 4 goals and 3 assists in the Eredivisie last season. 

In addition to Stade Rennes, the article lists AS Roma and AFC Sunderland as other suspected interested parties.

Brobbey, under contract with Ajax until 2027, was previously with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga during the 2021/22 season. 

However, the attacker made just 14 competitive appearances for the Saxon club and failed to score a single goal.

Furthermore, the recent €13million return of Tiago Tomás to the Swabian club puts the transfer of Brobbey in further doubt.
