Reports in Italy claim that Como are targeting a move for former Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte, who looks set to terminate his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr one year ahead of schedule.
Report Como eyeing Laporte deal
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Cesc Fabregas’s side are hoping to make another defensive addition before the close of the summer transfer window.
Sunday’s report claims that Laporte is an option, and that the French-born Spain international could be available on a free transfer as he prepares to terminate his contract with Al-Nassr.

Laporte is currently under contract in Saudi Arabia until the end of the 2025-26 season, but recent reports claim that he will be freed from his agreement one year early, which will facilitate a move away from the club on a free transfer.
Reports in the UK indicate that Laporte is currently in the top-three highest earning defenders in the world on his current contract with Al-Nassr.
