When Borussia Dortmund were awarded a penalty in their 4-4 draw with Juventus on Tuesday, Ramy Bensebaini and Serhou Guirassy were seen arguing over who should take it.

Bensebaini ultimately stepped up and scored coolly, converting confidently into the lower-left corner.

According to Sky Germany, Guirassy’s behavior during the incident has prompted serious talks with Dortmund’s management.

Dortmund coach Niko Kovac made it clear after the game that it had been decided before the match that Bensebaini would take the penalty, should the opportunity arise. Nevertheless, Guirassy did not accept the decision without protest.

That should not be an issue going forward, with Bensebaini now confirmed as the club’s first-choice penalty taker.
