It is becoming more clear that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Igor Matanović wants to leave the club this summer.
A recent report from Sport BILD suggests that SC Freiburg are the latest Bundesliga side to join the race for the Croatian.
With the seemingly imminent signing of Jonathan Burkardt added to their other talents, Matanović fears game time will be slim.
Alongside the Breisgauers are FC Augsburg, Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart who are also monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation.
With Matanović under a healthy contract at the Hessen club until 2029, he is expected to cost in or around €8million.
