According to Corriere dello Sport, a new Juventus President will be named during the upcoming shareholders meeting in November, while Damien Comolli will be promoted as club CEO.

Juventus are expected to make some considerable changes inside the control room as, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri will have a new president starting from November.

According to the report, owner John Elkann is in search of a profile that serves as a representative rather than an operational role, given that the current General Manager, Comolli, will get more power by becoming the new CEO.

Corriere dello Sport also confirms that Giorgio Chiellini could enter the board of directors in November.

Gianluca Ferrero, the current Juventus President, was appointed in January 2023 after Andrea Agnelli and the previous board of directors had resigned.

Elkann still has great trust in Ferrero, but the club owner is reportedly considering a change at the helm of the club, picking a candidate with a vast background, from football to politics and finances.

Comments from fans on social media appear to suggest that supporters will be glad to see a club legend such as Alessandro Del Piero or Michel Platini becoming the new Juventus President, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Elkann could pick a different name, potentially another French executive.

Regardless of the new President, the financial target won’t change as the Bianconeri aim to become entirely self-sustainable over the next few years, while remaining competitive on the pitch.

Ferrero and current CEO Maurizio Scanavino may get a different role at the club or be appointed to new positions at Exor, the holding company owned by the Agnelli family.
