The American attacker is heading back to the MLS.

Paxten Aaronson’s transfer to Colorado Rapids looks set to go through, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

Colorado have reached full agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt, as per journalist Tom Bogert’s confirmed report.

Following the prior verbal agreement with the 21-year-old playmaker, a full agreement has been reached between the clubs.

The total transfer fee is understood to be €7million guaranteed, plus €1.5million in potential add-ons.

Aaronson, who first joined Die Adler in late 2022, arrived from Philadelphia Union for a €4million fee including bonuses.

He spent last season on loan at Eredivisie side FC Utrecht where he provided 8 goals and 4 assists in 33 league games.
