Report reveals four players who could leave Eintracht

According to Sport Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt are ready to offload four players this summer.

German sports magazine Sport Bild has published a list of four players who could leave Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season.

Eric Ebimbe’s inclusion on the list is unsurprising given that he came close to leaving Eintracht during the winter transfer window. After his move to Monaco fell through at the last minute, the Frenchman is expected to leave Eintracht this summer.

Niels Nkounkou is also free to leave, with the French left-back having fallen behind Nathaniel Brown and Arthur Theate in the battle for a starting berth at left-back.

The report also mentions Fares Chaibi. Much was expected of the 22-year-old when he arrived, but Eintracht appear to have lost patience with the Algeria international.

Finally, Igor Matanovic could apparently depart the club if the price is right. Expectations were high for the 21-year-old striker after an impressive loan spell at Karlsruhe last season, but he hasn’t lived up to them, scoring twice in 24 appearances in all competitions.
