Report Roma agree El Aynaoui personal terms, but 30m asking price a problem

According to Footmercato, Roma have agreed personal terms with RC Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui, but still need to work out a fee with his club.

There had been suggestions over the last few days that El Aynaoui had joined the list of players on their radar, along with Richard Rios of Palmeiras.

Now reports in France this evening claim that the player has given the all clear to join the Giallorossi, agreeing personal terms.

He is enthusiastic about the Roma project with new coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but there is still a very long way to go.

That is because RC Lens want €30m to sell their talent, who just celebrated his 24^th birthday this month.

It would be an extraordinary profit, considering he was picked up from AS Nancy for just €600,000 in the summer of 2023.

Although born and raised in France, he plays his international football for Morocco.

Roma are not the only Serie A side liked with El Aynaoui, as he had also been associated with interest from Juventus and Lazio.
