According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lyon striker Georges Mikautadze is among the ‘most intriguing’ Roma transfer targets to replace Tammy Abraham.

Roma have targeted Lyon centre forward Mikautadze to replace Abraham, who is on the verge of joining Besiktas on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Lyon have been relegated to France’s second division due to financial issues and even if their request for Mikautadze is €30m, Roma reportedly hope to secure the striker’s services for circa €20m.

The Georgia international has scored 17 goals in 47 appearances with Lyon.

Gian Piero Gasperini is also seeking midfield reinforcements, and Corriere dello Sport confirms Brighton’s Matt O’Riley is open to moving to the Stadio Olimpico, although the Giallorossi must reach an agreement with the English club.

As for the right-wing-back position, Flamengo’s Wesley is too expensive as the Brazilian club value their defender at €25m-30m.

Therefore, the Giallorossi have already opened preliminary talks with Cagliari for Nadir Zortea, who costs circa €10m.
