Report: Stuttgart deem Bayern’s offer for Woltemade ‘laughable’ as trail goes cold

Here’s what ZVW reporter Simeon Kramer had to say in his article.

Bayern Munich’s first offer for Nick Woltemade was deemed ‘laughable’ by Stuttgart, as reported by Zeitungsverlag Waiblingen (zvw.de).

The offer only reinforced the Swabians’ impression that Bayern are acting ‘almost disrespectfully’ in the Woltemade case.

With the offer of €40million plus €5million to be paid over 4 installments, there’s now radio silence between the two clubs.

Negotiations have not resumed since the first bid with Bayern and Stuttgart are currently too far apart with regard to the transfer fee.

Further complications arise from CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, acting as an extension of Uli Hoeneß, who has interfered in the negotiations several times.

The exchange between Max Eberl and the VfB executives, however, is said to be positive although Stuttgart are determined to remain firm.

A quick agreement is unlikely unless Bayern makes the “extraordinary offer” demanded by the DfB-Pokal champions.
