Reports Galatasaray interested in Inter midfielder Calhanoglu after Club World Cup – Price tag and contract details revealed

Reports in Italy claim that Turkish giants Galatasaray are among the clubs interested in securing a deal for Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, who could leave San Siro if an appropriate offer arrives. 

The Nerazzurri are left evaluating the 31-year-old’s future after the departure of Simone Inzaghi, and reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the club could be tempted into listening to offers in the region of €35m-€40m this summer. 

Calhanoglu has two seasons remaining on his current Nerazzurri contract, running until the summer of 2027. 

Galatasaray option for Inter’s Calhanoglu

As things stand, no official offers have arrived for Calhanoglu, who is currently away with the Inter squad in Los Angeles for the beginning of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. 

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Galatasaray, as well as a number of unspecified Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in a deal for Calhanoglu if he is made available this summer. 

Saturday’s report claims that Lazio’s Italy international Nicolo Rovella would be Inter’s ideal replacement in the event that Calhanoglu is sold. 

The Biancocelesti midfielder reportedly has a €50m release clause included in his current contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
