RB Leipzig are said to be eyeing up Benfica’s Antonio Silva as a possible replacement for Mohamed Simakan.

With Mohamed Simakan heavily linked with a move away from RB Leipzig, it appears that the Roten Bullen have found a possible replacement for the Frenchman.

According to RMA, A Bola and Sky Germany, Leipzig have opened talks with Benfica over the signing of 20-year-old centre-back Antonio Silva.

A loan with a purchase obligation in the region of €25-30 million is said to be under discussion.

Simakan is said to have attracted interest from both Europe and Saudi Arabia and could be on the move before the transfer window closes on Friday.
