RB Leipzig appear to have taken the next step in their bid to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach captain Rocco Reitz.

According to Sky Germany, Die Roten Bullen have agreed on personal terms with the 23-year-old central midfielder on a contract running until 2031.

It is now up to Leipzig to reach an agreement with Gladbach over a transfer fee.

Reitz reportedly has a release clause of €25-28 million, but Die Roten Bullen are aiming to push the price down.

Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked with a move for Reitz, but now appear to have taken a backseat.
