Roma and Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Jadon Sancho, who may return to Manchester United after an unconvincing spell at Chelsea.

Sancho joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United last summer, but the English winger has had highs and lows at Stamford Bridge this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in 29 appearances across all competitions.

BBC reports Chelsea will have to pay £5m to send Sancho back to Old Trafford in the summer, and TalkSport adds that Enzo Maresca is still unconvinced by the English winger. Sancho has only started 16 Premier League matches this term, scoring twice.

According to TalkSport, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are already interested in a potential summer deal with Chelsea or Manchester United, but Lazio and Roma are also keeping a close eye on the situation.

If the 25-year-old becomes available in the coming months, both Serie A clubs would reportedly be ready to attempt to sign him.

Sancho had already been linked with a move to Serie A as Juventus were reportedly interested in securing his services last summer.
