Leon Bailey’s frustrating start to life at Roma continues, with the winger still sidelined almost two months after picking up an injury in his very first training session with the club.

The Giallorossi signed the Jamaican international from Premier League side Aston Villa to add pace and creativity to their frontline but supporters have been left waiting to see him in action.

Originally, the winger was expected to be out for just 30–40 days but his recovery has taken longer than anticipated and medical staff are approaching his rehabilitation with caution.

When will Bailey return for Roma?

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Bailey will miss the upcoming clash with Fiorentina and could only return after the international break.

The target timeframe is between the trip to Inter and the following fixtures against Sassuolo and Parma at the end of October, though doubts remain about his exact condition.

The situation is causing some concern within Roma, with fans eager to finally see their summer signing contribute after such an unfortunate false start.
