Alexis Saelemaekers is making an impact at Roma, but he is still owned by Milan, now attracting interest from Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
The Belgium international will turn 26 in June, but is already a veteran of several Serie A sides, having played for Milan, Bologna and now Roma.
He joined the Giallorossi on loan last summer and has contributed six goals with five assists in 26 official matches this season.
That was particularly impressive considering he was ruled out from September to November 2024 following ankle surgery.
Saelemaekers future is in doubt
There is no option to buy as part of the agreement with Milan, so he could return to San Siro at the end of this season.
According to Tuttomercatoweb and the Corriere dello Sport, there is growing interest in Saelemaekers from the Premier League.
Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are interested in making a proposal for the attacking winger, especially if they achieve Champions League qualification.
His asking price is expected to be circa €25m, but that could rise if the performances continue to impress.
