Bukayo Saka made the Tottenham fans eat their words as he watched his corner kick get headed in by one of their own players after they had taunted him.

Arsenal claimed a huge victory over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the hosts failing to pull off a comeback after going 3-0 down.

It looked to be the most difficult game of Arsenal’s run-in but the visitors made the perfect start when Saka’s corner was turned into his own net by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The home fans had tried to put Saka off by chanting ‘you let your country down’ in reference to his penalty miss in the European Championship final.

It had no impact though as the Gunners broke the deadlock and Saka made sure to respond to the Tottenham faithful by cupping his ears.

Spurs hit back with Cristian Romero capitalising on a mistake from David Raya before Son Heung-min netted from the penalty spot.

Arsenal managed to hold on and extend their lead at the top of the table before Man City reduced it with their 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
