According to a report in Sport BILD, Schalke 04 intend to sign Moussa Ndiaye permanently when the current campaign ends.

Schalke’s management plans to begin negotiations with his parent club Anderlecht this summer regarding a permanent transfer.

Should Ndiaye maintain his impressive form in the coming months, reports suggest a transfer fee of around €1.5million would suffice.

The Senegalese player – who arrived on loan to replace the injured Vitalie Becker – is under contract with the Belgian club until 2028.

For financially strapped Schalke, it’s certainly not a small sum, one they could likely only afford if they achieve promotion.

However, given his form and potential of the full-back who came through the youth ranks at FC Barcelona, it could be a worthy investment.

It remains to be seen how Ndiaye’s situation will develop when his positional rival and rising star, Becker, returns from his enforced absence.
