Schick set to stay at Leverkusen, Sky Germany reports
By Ultan Corcoran@UltanCorcoran

Patrik Schick looks likely to remain at the BayArena for the 2025-26 campaign.

If Xabi Alonso had stayed, Patrik Schick would have wanted to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer, Sky Germany sources believe.

However, with the appointment of Erik ten Hag, the situation has changed and the striker is open to staying.

The Czechia international doesn’t plan to leave at this point, but there are inquiries from clubs and several very concrete options abroad.

Sides from the Premier League and Serie A are monitoring him closely – he has already rejected a few options, such as AC Milan and teams from Saudi Arabia.

If things work out well under Erik ten Hag, a contract extension beyond 2027 is believed to be possible.
