Schlotterbeck transfer to Bayern depends on Upamecano’s future

A new report from “BILD” is linking Nico Schlotterbeck’s future to Dayot Upamecano’s future at Bayern.

According to a report from “BILD”, Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck continues to be a hot candidate for a transfer to Bayern Munich in the near future.

However, his future is seemingly linked to and depending on the one of Bayern’s current star centre-back Dayot Upamecano: should he extend his contract at Bayern, they would be unlikely to move for Schlotterbeck for financial reasons. Should the French defender decide to leave the Rekordmeister, Schlotterbeck’s move to Bayern would be the club’s dream scenario.

Uli Hoeneß is a fan of the German international and was already in favour of signing him when he was playing at Freiburg. Hoeneß appreciates Schlotterbeck’s mentality and also the fact that he’s a German international.
