Sean Dyche reveals he is getting a ‘glow-up’ with former Everton boss undergoing treatment for new ‘gnashers’ before lifting lid on 25-year health issue with his nose

Sean Dyche is set to undergo a ‘glow-up’ with a fresh set of ‘gnashers’ and a revamped nose.  

The former Everton boss has been without a job on the touchline since being sacked by the Toffees just hours before their FA Cup clash with Peterborough in January. 

His position was under growing danger amid the side’s disappointing results with one win over his last 11 matches in charge of the Merseyside club, who sat 16th and just a point adrift of the relegation zone. 

On Friday, it was announced that the former Burnley manager, 53, would join talkSPORT in order to share his expertise and knowledge with the audience.

And he has revealed that he is set to fix his teeth after some pressure from his daughter. 

He told the radio station: ‘I’m having a glow-up. I’m getting my gnashers done. I’ve got teeth like Animal, you know one of them muppets. I promised my daughter, she’s been nagging me for years. I promised myself I’ll get my teeth done. 

The 53-year-old has been without a job since being sacked by Everton in Janaury 

Dyche now co-hosts a talkSPORT show alongside Jonny Owen every Sunday afternoon 

Dyche has also revealed he will undergo a nose job having delayed it since having an incident on the pitch over two decades ago  

‘I’m getting my nose done but not for cosmetic reasons – I can’t breathe through half of it. I should have had it done 25 years ago,’ he added. 

‘On 9/11, we played at Gillingham for Millwall and Guy Ipoua did an overhead kick, I threw my head at it being the brave lion of a defender I was.

‘He overhead kicked me right on the nose and it smashed my shnozz. You know how it was in those days, get on with it. They got a bit of metal and pushed it in. I haven’t been able to breathe properly for years.

‘It’s not the reason for the voice! When they go up my nose with the camera, they look at the voice box. I’ve had it checked about 50 times!’

talkSPORT this week confirmed that Dyche will appear as a co-host every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm alongside his friend Jonny Owen. 

It is understood that the show will focus heavily on the football world but include Dyche’s view on specific topics, such as Thomas Tuchel’s England or his experience at various Premier League sides.
