With Moritz Nicolas out with a long-term injury and Jonas Omlin suspended, who will be in goal for Borussia Mönchengladbach when they face Heidenheim on the road on Saturday?

Gladbach coach Gerardo Seoane will have to choose between the experienced Tobias Sippel, who failed to impress after coming on as a substitute against Augsburg, and 18-year-old Tiago Pereira Cardoso.

At his pre-match press conference, the Swiss coach offered some words on the duel, but kept his cards close to his chest.

“We are leaning in one direction,” Seoane said, adding that he would wait until the last training session before making a final decision.

“Sippel has a lot more experience and has seen and played in these matches many times. Tiago is a player with great potential for the future.

“No matter who plays, he should play in his own way and with his own strength,” the Gladbach coach continued.
