Gian Piero Gasperini will have to do without the injured Gianluca Scamacca when La Dea visit Torino on Monday evening, while Ivan Juric has also had to make a call up front for the Granata.
Charles De Ketelaere is back in the squad and will start alongside and Ademola Lookman for Atalanta, following confirmation on Sunday that Scamacca will be ruled out until 2024 with a serious injury to his thigh.
Injuries have begun to stack up for the visiting side, as El-Bilal Toure, Jose Luis Palomino and Rafael Toloi are all currently unavailable.
Antonio Sanabria and former Atalanta man Duvan Zapata, meanwhile, are expected to start in the striker roles for Torino, supported by Nikola Vlasic after a reported falling out between coach Juric and Namanja Radonjic.
Torino require a win on Monday evening if they are to return to the top half of the Serie A table. They have collected 16 points from their opening 13 matches, but have only won twice at home in the league all season.
Atalanta could jump into sixth place, behind Napoli and above Fiorentina with three points in Turin on Monday night.
Kick-off is set for 19.45 GMT.
