Rafael Leao will return to Milan’s starting XI in a key Serie A match against Como and Cesc Fabregas, one of the coaches linked with the Rossoneri job next season.

It kicks off at 18:00 CET (17:00 GMT) at the Stadio Meazza in San Siro, Milan.

Emerson Royal is the only unavailable player for the home side, while Leao will return to the starting XI.

The Portuguese winger had been benched in the previous round against Lecce but played a key role in a 3-2 comeback win, creating several chances and providing one assist.

Strahinja Pavlović and Mike Maignan are also back after serving a one-match ban last week. According to Sky Sport, Pavlovic will start in central defence with Matteo Gabbia, while Gazzetta reports that the Italian will likely start alongside Malick Thiaw.

Youssouf Fofana is expected to start on the bench again, making room for Yunus Musah in the middle of the park.

All Como players are available and Fabregas won’t change his ideal starting XI with Pico Paz playing as a false nine, Assane Diao and Gabriel Strefezza on the wings.

As per Sky Sport, the only change could be Patrick Cutrone for Maximo Perrone, which would switch Como’s system to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Fabregas is one of the candidates linked with the Milan job next season, but Sergio Conceiçao said at a pre-match press conference that he’d be motivated regardless of that: ‘”Otherwise, I would be sick.”
