Inter talisman Lautaro Martinez is currently the most valuable player in Serie A heading into the 2025-26 campaign, Italy international Nicolo Barella is the most valuable midfielder and Alessandro BAstoni ranks as the most valuable defender.
Here is a look at the most valuable Serie A XI heading into the new season.
Who is included in Serie A’s most valuable XI?
Over half of the players included in the Serie A most valuable XI currently represent Inter according to the latest info. That list includes full-backs Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco, striker Marcus Thuram, plus the aforementioned Lautaro, Barella and Bastoni.

Napoli have a piar of inclusions as well with Serie A MVP Scott McTominay and Italy international centre-back Alessandro Buongiorno.
Milan also have two representatives with goalkeeper Mike Maignan and star forward Rafael Leao.
Ademola Lookman, who has recently returned to Atalanta after two weeks of unauthorised absence, is also included on the list.
