Serie A Wk22 Live: Sassuolo vs. Cremonese – Confirmed line-ups, updates and result

Jamie Vardy starts for Cremonese away at Sassuolo, but Domenico Berardi and Andrea Pinamonti begin on the bench for the Neroverdi.

It kicks off at 12:30 CET (11:30 GMT), and it’s the opening Sunday game in Serie A Round 22.

Neither Cremonese nor Sassuolo are in great form being without victories in the last five league games.

At the same time, however, they are level on 23 points, six above the relegation zone.

The home side must cope without Pieragnolo, Boloca and Candè, while Cremonese have travelled to Reggio Emilia without Okereke, Vazquez, Payero, Sanabria, Moumbagna and Bondo.

Berardi is available after recovering from an injury, but is still not fit to start, while Pinamonti has had a fever, so he begins on the bench.

Cremonese left-back Giuseppe Pezzella returns to action after a one-game ban and gets the nod as a left wing-back, with Vardy and Federico Bonazzoli confirmed as the Grigiorossi’s starting strikers.
