Sesko agrees Arsenal deal: Truth behind BLOCKBUSTER transfer revealed

The truth behind Benjamin Sesko’s proposed move to Arsenal has been revealed after reports the Slovenia international had already agreed personal terms with the Gunners.

There were claims on Thursday that the RB Leipzig striker has agreed a move to the Emirates Stadium, leaving only the issue of a transfer fee to be agreed before a deal was struck.

But in Sesko’s homeland, the press believes that the reality of the situation is very different.

According to Ekipa, the claims are little more than speculation coming from a fake news tweet that cited Bild but did not link to the German source.

“The news spread quickly and found space in the Slovenian media, but it was all very premature. As we learned from reliable sources, including the circle close to Benjamin Sesko, the news is fake,” it reports.

“This is yet another example of how quickly false and unverified information spreads these days. When Benjamin Sesko is close to joining Arsenal, it will definitely be news that will echo across the front pages of the world’s most credible media outlets, and not just be circulated among anonymous accounts on the X network.”

Sesko’s agent knocks back rumours

Benjamin Sesko’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, was asked by Fabrizio Romano if his client is pushing for a move.

He replied: “This is far from truth! We respect RB Leipzig, and I am 100 per cent convinced RB Leipzig will also respect our decision for the next step when we decide to do it. It could be next week, or next year, or in three years.

“Even if there may be – or will be – a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig.

“I believe in the football world, there should be more respect. So that’s why we do things in the right way or we don’t do them. It’s very simple, even if maybe in the media it looks very complicated.”

Sesko to Arsenal is, therefore, still a trending transfer topic but not a deal that is close to being resolved.
