Shakhtar Donetsk make £12m offer for West Ham flop who has played just six times since signing for £25m last summer

Shakhtar Donetsk have made an offer of around £12million for West Ham winger Luis Guilherme.

Guilherme, 18, has made just six appearances since joining from Brazilian club Palmeiras for £25m over the summer. 

The Brazilian Under-20 international has amassed a grand total of 50 minutes across five Premier League cameos and a brief outing in the FA Cup. 

He is tied down to the London Stadium on a five-year deal but his time in English football could be over by Monday. 

He developed at Palmeiras as part of a potential golden generation of exports alongside Real Madrid‘s Endrick and Vitor Reis, who Manchester City have signed this window. 

Should he join the Ukrainian side, he will be parachuted into a battle for European football with Shakhtar sat third in the top flight. 

They are 10 points distant of league leaders Dynamo Kyiv but have a game in hand. 

He was offered to Saudi Arabian clubs earlier in the month, with Al-Hilal among those to show an interest.

New Hammers boss Graham Potter has, however, shown an interest in using the winger, bringing him on towards the end of their 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace.
