During the international break, fears regarding the fitness of VfL Wolfsburg captain Maximilian Arnold were at an all-time high.
The Lower Saxony club’s coach Paul Simonis has since revealed that the 31-year-old is a slight doubt for their game with VfB Stuttgart.
“Max Arnold trained with the team again today. However, his participation remains a question mark, as we have to wait and see how his body reacts to today’s training,” Simonis said.
Simonis continued on the personnel front and listed the players who will be missing from Saturday afternoon’s clash.
“Kevin Paredes, Denis Vavro, Patrick Wimmer, Rogerio, and Jesper Lindström are not available. All other players are fit.
“Some players, including Mohammed Amoura and Adam Daghim, played for their national teams on Monday or Tuesday.
“Therefore did not train on the pitch today. But, they will return to team training tomorrow, however,” the Dutch native explained.
