Juventus majority shareholder, John Elkann, is reportedly an avid supporter of Kenan Yildiz whom he wants to keep in Turin for a long time.

The Turkey international has already been linked with a move to Chelsea and other Premier League clubs, but Juventus owner Elkann is reportedly unwilling to sell him this summer.

A recent report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Elkann has a ‘soft spot’ for the 19-year-old talent, even after seeing him receive a straight red card in a Serie A game against Monza last week.

“He’s a good guy and he really cares a lot. He’s in love with football,” Juventus coach Tudor said after Yildiz’s red card.

“He’s pure and I he has understood what he did. I saw the video, he had been pulled, he wanted to break free and made that gesture. It wasn’t malicious, but he paid for it.

“I want to highlight his kindness, which is important. He’s never done something like this before. It will be a lesson for him.”
