With the Euro 2024 group stage draw having taken place, each team at the tournament know who they will be facing going into the competition.
Hosts Germany will be looking to put the disappointment of past tournaments behind them as they look to bring glory to the country in 2024.
World Cup runners-up France will also be seeking glory after an incredible final in Qatar, which saw them just miss out on securing back-to-back World Cups at the hands of Argentina.
Elsewhere, Gareth Southgate‘s England will be hoping to finally get their hands on some silverware after coming so close at Euro 2020 and they have avoided facing current champions Italy, who are in a group of death of their own.
Mail Sport have all the information from each Euro 2024 group ahead of the tournament next summer.

The full groups have been drawn, and Mail Sport have all the information ahead of Euro 2024
GROUP A
Hosts Germany have been drawn alongside Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.
Hansi Flick’s side open the tournament with what could be a banana skin of a fixture up against Scotland.
Steve Clarke has got his side playing extremely well in qualifying and they could pull off one of the biggest upsets if they can defeat Germany on home soil on the opening day.
Switzerland are probably the ones to watch in this group, and their first fixture against Hungary will provide an opportunity to build on as they could end up topping the group.
The most exciting fixture in this group no doubt comes when Switzerland take on Germany on the final day, with top spot most likely up for grabs in this game.
Switzerland upset France at Euro 2020 and will be hoping to claim another scalp in 2024.
GROUP B
The group of death sees Spain, Italy and Croatia joined by Albania.
This is the one that everyone will have their eye on, with Spain taking on Croatia in their opening match.
Italy’s clash against Albania on the same day will see them handed a huge opportunity, but the Albanians are not to be taken lightly as they could pull off an upset of their own.
Spain will be hoping that they get a result when they take on Croatia, as things don’t get easier as they face Italy next. Losing both these two would surely see them home before they face Albania.
Albania will fancy their chances against Italy. Despite them being champions, Italy didn’t qualify for the World Cup last year and could be licking their wounds coming into this tournament.
Luciano Spalletti’s Italy have been placed in a group of death alongside Spain and Croatia
GROUP C
England will be hoping that this group produces a winner as Gareth Southgate’s men face Serbia, Slovenia and Denmark.
On paper, the Three Lions should top this group, and they beat Denmark on the way to the final at Euro 2020.
They face off on matchday two, which will no doubt be the one to watch but an opening day fixture against Serbia will be no easy match for Southgate’s men.
England fans will want to keep an eye on Serbia’s clash against Denmark on June 25, when the Three Lions face Slovenia to finish the group.
GROUP D
This would have been the group of death if not for Group B as France, Austria and Netherlands all face each other with play-off winner A joining them.
While we are unaware of who this is at the time of writing, one of Wales, Poland, Estonia or Finland will make up this group.
The match to watch out for is on June 21st as France take on the Netherlands. The winner of this will most likely top the group.
However, Ralf Rangnick has got Austria playing some incredible stuff and it would be no surprise if they find their way to the knockout stages, especially with the majority of their players playing for clubs in Germany.
Kylian Mbappe almost led France to World Cup glory and will be hoping to go one better at Euro 2024 in Germany
GROUP E
Belgium come into the tournament with a new manager and he’s been handed a relatively simple group on paper, with Slovakia, Romania and play-off winner B.
Israel, Bosnia, Ukraine or Iceland will join them in the group as the play-off winner, with Belgium the clear favourites to top it.
Watch out for Ukraine if they get through to the tournament. They performed very well against England in qualifying and could prove to be a dark horse at Euro 2024.
GROUP F
Last but not least, Portugal take on Czech Republic, Turkey and play-off winner C.
Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan or Luxembourg will take the final spot in this group.
Czech Republic probably provide the most fierce competition for Portugal and they face off in Leipzig for the group opener.
Turkey are always dubbed to be dark horses but truthfully have not lived up to this expectation yet. Could this be their year?
New Portugal boss Roberto Martinez will have to wait until the knock-out stages if he is to face former side Belgium
