Germany’s main sporting tabloid – citing its own internal sources – claims that Bayern attacker Serge Gnabry won’t be an option for the German record champions until at least November.
Serge Gantry’s fractured forearm will, according to Germany’s “Sport Bild” tabloid, sideline the German national team attacker through at least the beginning of November. FC Bayern München’s initial prognosis claimed that there would be “several weeks” of downtime. The German tabloid cites sources close to the club to assert that no one at the FCB assumes Gnabry will be back to match fitness before November 4th.
Gnabry will thus miss the coming international break at at least six forthcoming club fixtures. Bayern head to league rivals Dortmund on November 4th for the blockbuster German league fixture known outside of Germany as “der Klassiker”. Gnabry’s absence may mean a regular starting spot for French attacker Mathys Tel, who has demonstrated his prowess on the left flank recently.
