Stuttgart agree personal terms with French U21 international

French U21 international Valentin Atangana could possibly be on his way to Stuttgart.

VfB Stuttgart have agreed personal terms with Stade Reims midfielder Valentin Atangana, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The Swabians are now said to have opened negotiations with his French club, but an agreement “is still a long way off,” the transfer journalist claims.

Eintracht Frankfurt are also reportedly interested in the 19-year-old, who remains under contract with Reims until 2027.

Atangana mainly operates as a No. 8, but is also capable of playing deeper in a more defensive midfield role.

He has two caps for France’s U21s and has already made 56 Ligue 1 appearances.
