Stuttgart are actively participating in the transfer market following Nick Woltemade’s departure.

Multiple reports suggest Hyeon-gyu Oh is flying to Germany for his medical check with VfB Stuttgart. The 24-year-old South Korean scored 14 goals and provided four assists for KRC Genk last season.

Bild cite the transfer fee will be €18 million plus bonuses, but there were reports of around €30 million by other media outlets. In addition to Nick Woltemade’s departure, Stuttgart will be without Deniz Undav for the foreseeable future due to an injury.

Oh mostly featured off the bench in the World Cup qualifiers, but he scored four goals to help his country qualify for the biggest tournament next summer. He also scored both in the Europa League qualifiers and the Pro League’s opening weekend.
