Stuttgart join race for in-demand Manchester City talent

VfB Stuttgart are said to be showing interest in Manchester City’s James McAtee, who has also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Manchester City youngster James McAtee continues to attract interest from the Bundesliga.

According to Sky Germany, VfB Stuttgart are closely monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation, with Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt also previously linked with a move for him.

The report adds that McAtee is “very interested” in the opportunity to play in the Bundesliga, but clubs from other leagues are also showing interest.

The attacking midfielder scored seven goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for City in the 2024/25 season. His current contract at the Etihad runs until 2026.
