Stuttgart are set to confirm the signing of Ecuadorian striker Jeremy Arevalo, as per reports from Sky Sports.
The 20-year-old will arrive from Spanish second-tier outfit Racing Santander, with VfB activating his €7 million release clause over the weekend.
Sky Sports Germany reports that the young forward has signed a deal stretching until 2030.
Arevalo has risen through the ranks at Racing Santander – scoring eight times across 18 appearances this season.
The youngster is the second player to make the switch from Racing this term, with Leipzig starlet Yan Diomande moving to Germany over the summer.
Florian Plettenberg reveals that an official announcement is expected soon, with a medical completed, as Stuttgart look to strengthen over the winter break.
