VfB Stuttgart striker El Bilal Touré faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Mali international picked up an injury against Eswatini during the international break.
And scans have now revealed that the 23-year-old has suffered a metatarsal fracture which will require surgery and sideline him for several months, Stuttgart confirmed on Saturday.
The injury comes as a big blow to Stuttgart, as the Atalanta loanee received plenty of minutes up front going into the international break.
In total, he has scored three goals in 13 appearances for the club.
