Stuttgart to hijack Ajax’s move for Salzburg star?

VfB Stuttgart are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Oscar Gloukh ahead of Ajax.

RB Salzburg star Oscar Gloukh has emerged as a transfer target for VfB Stuttgart, according to Sky Germany.

The Bundesliga side are said to have made contact with the player’s representatives.

Ajax have been in talks to sign the 21-year-old for some time and remain the frontrunners, but Stuttgart could still look to hijack the deal.

A fee in the region of €20 million is expected to be enough to lure the attacking midfielder away from Salzburg.

Gloukh has scored 23 goals and provided 29 assists in 101 games for Salzburg.
