Summer departure imminent for Dōan, BILD suggests

The tabloid notes a handful of Bundesliga sides interested in the versatile attacker.

With Ritsu Dōan eager to experience Champions League football next season, BILD are reporting a summer departure is imminent.

Germany’s popular tabloid believes the 27-year-old is destined to make the switch to a team competing in Europe’s premier competition.

Over the last few weeks, several Bundesliga rivals have been linked with the winger including Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bayern Munich are also tipped to be in the race for the Japanese international, although one would expect they have preferred targets. 

Freiburg are hoping recoup around €20million if they let Dōan go, although rival clubs will likely hope to bring that figure down in negotiations.
