The Athletic reports that RB Leipzig’s Lutsharel Geertruida is heading to Sunderland on loan.
Just one year after joining RB Leipzig from Feyenoord in a €20 million deal, Lutsharel Geertruida is now heading for the exit.
According to The Athletic, the 25-year-old right-back is set to join Sunderland on loan with an option to buy.
Geertruida is currently in England to undergo his medical as the move nears completion.
Olympique Marseille have also been mentioned as suitors for the Dutchman, who has yet to make a single appearance this season.
In total, he has played 35 games for Leipzig, registering one goal and one assist.
