Roma have run into big problems during their contract renegotiations with Mile Svilar, so could be forced to sell the goalkeeper.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the talks have not been progressing well and are a long way off reaching an agreement.
His current salary is €1m per season, while the Giallorossi proposed an extension at €1.6m plus performance-related bonuses.
That is considered to be far too low, especially considering that this deal was signed when he was still the second or even third-choice goalkeeper, whereas this season he is their undisputed first pick.
Svilar is first choice at Roma

The 25-year-old joined as a free agent from Benfica in 2022 and his current contract only runs to June 2027.
There are quite a few clubs interested in Svilar, including Fenerbahce, having already worked with Jose Mourinho, while Manchester City already earned links.
If Roma are unable to agree terms for a new contract, then they might be forced to sell the goalkeeper in order to avoid losing him as a free agent in the summer of 2027.
