Sydney FC rival MLS clubs for Thomas Müller

Sydney FC have reportedly joined MLS clubs in the race to sign Thomas Müller.

Following the expiry of his Bayern Munich contract, Thomas Müller is still searching for a new club.

Sky Germany reported on Tuesday that Müller has decided to move to MLS, with two clubs – including Los Angeles FC – vying to sign him.

However, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian side Sydney FC are also in the race for the 35-year-old.

While an MLS move remains the most likely destination, Sydney FC hold an outside chance of persuading the former German international to join them, the report claims.

Müller’s next destination should be confirmed in the coming 7 to 10 days.
