Ten Hag touches on Die Werkself’s impending new skipper and possibly dipping back into the transfer market.

In speaking to the media in recent days, Erik ten Hag has all but revealed that Robert And Rich will be his new captain for the 2025/26 season.

“[Andrich wearing the captain’s armband in the most recent friendlies] is a sign. He’s a leader. You can see that.

“He communicates very well. He’s present, and he’s a role model for the team,” Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach explained.

Fellow news outlet Kicker.de also noted the Netherlands gaffer’s longing for more signings in the transfer market this summer.

“There are still many weak points. We need to strengthen ourselves in some positions to achieve our goal of the top four,” he said.

With Lukas Hradecky set to join Monaco and Amine Adli attracting Premier League interest, two more name are likely to leave the club.

Although ten Hag didn’t mention either player, he voiced how “four to five more players … need to be added,” to achieve a strong squad.
