“The decision isn’t mine alone” – Karim Adeyemi opens up on uncertain Dortmund future

Karim Adeyemi has commented on consistent speculation surrounding his Borussia Dortmund future.

Out of contract at Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2027, Karim Adeyemi insists no decision has yet been made regarding his future.

“In football, everything can change very quickly. It could all be decided in a month or two – maybe even in the next couple of weeks,” Adeyemi told WAZ, noting that any agreement requires both parties’ consent.

“The decision isn’t mine alone. Many factors come into play, including considerations from the club,” he added.

Speculation has suggested that his wife is pushing for a move to a club in a larger city, but the German international dismissed those claims.

“What you read in the media isn’t always accurate. My focus is here. I’ve never said I feel uncomfortable or anything like that,” he stressed.
