Thomas Müller attracting interest from around the globe

After announcing his departure from Bayern, Thomas Müller has received interest from clubs from all over the world.

Unsurprisingly, Müller has no shortage of suitors. Both Los Angeles FC and Fenerbahce have been linked with the veteran forward, but the interest doesn’t end there.

According to Sport Bild, every Major League Soccer club has identified Müller as a top target, with San Diego and Cincinnati having already made inquiries.

The report also indicates that Müller has received interest from Europe, with clubs in both the Premier League and Serie A reportedly keen. In Italy, Fiorentina are said to among the suitors for the German international.

Should neither the European nor MLS options appeal, a move to Brazil could be an alternative, with Gremio reportedly having made initial inquiries.

A quick decision is not expected, as Müller’s focus remains on finishing the season with Bayern, the report states. It also adds that retirement from football is not completely ruled out for the 35-year-old.
