According to Sport Bild, Timo Werner is uninterested in leaving RB Leipzig despite interest from several clubs and limited prospects for playing time.

Despite seemingly having no sporting future at the club, Timo Werner is not expected to leave RB Leipzig before the transfer window closes.

According to Sport Bild, Werner has shown no willingness to move so far, instead intending to see out his contract, which runs until 2026.

The report suggests there have been inquiries from the Premier League, specifically Burnley and Leeds United, as well as interest from Italy, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United States.

Despite being informed that he is no longer part of the club’s plans, Werner is keen to stay, earning a lucrative €10 million per year on his current deal.

Werner, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, was left out of the squad for Leipzig’s first two competitive games of the season.
